Oct. 2nd News & Experimenting with Small Projects

...........................................................................................................................................

Studio Luz Architects is currently working on a couple of housing projects in the New England area.   While our new projects are in development, we  would like to take this opportunity to share with you some office news and some interior design work we have done for our past clients. First, we would like to announce that Principal Anthony Piermarini is scheduled to lecture at Roger Williams University on October 9th at 6pm and Principal Hansy Better Barraza will be featured in a curated Women in Design exhibition at the BSA|Space from October 4th to November 15th, 2013.  We hope you can join us for either the public lecture or for the opening exhibition reception taking place on Friday, October 4th at 6pm. Admission is free to the public!

At Studio Luz Architects, small renovation projects are opportunities for experimentation with material and construction detailing. We recognize the opportunities inherent in budget and schedule constraints by responding with the highest quality of design services.

For Dental Arts of Westwood, MA, Studio Luz sculpted the reception area with an an open looped front desk to create an inviting focal point where patients feel welcomed. Throughout their stay, the open design creates a pleasant environment for the patient, giving them direct access to an attendant at all times.

For the world famous Eagle’s Deli & Restaurant in Cleveland Circle, Boston, we experimented with wood and the act and time it takes to broil or grill a burger to create a dynamic texture for all the interior surfaces.
